Qt SDK 1.2

What Is New

This update of the Qt SDK brings you new versions of the following components:

  • Final MeeGo Harmattan tool chain, which is no longer experimental. You can use it to create applications that you can submit to the Ovi Store
  • Updated Symbian Complementary Package, which adds the Qt 4.7.4 for Symbian Anna target (with Qt Mobility 1.2.1) and updates the beta level Qt 4.7.4 and Qt Mobility 1.2.1 for Symbian Belle target (online installer, only).

    Note: The Qt SDK version 1.1.4 only contains the latest tool chains available for developing applications for a particular Symbian platform. The Qt 4.6.3 for Symbian and Qt 4.7.3 for Symbian^3 and Symbian Anna targets have been removed from Qt SDK 1.1.4. To develop for those targets, use Qt SDK 1.1.2.

  • Qt Mobility API 1.2 that introduces new NFC (near field communication) and Bluetooth APIs, as well as quality improvements to the existing APIs.

Use the Qt SDK Updater to update the components. For more information, see Updating Installed Components.
